This converter is made for common cases: you have a latitude and a longitude, and you need clean decimal, DMS or DM notation. You can type latitude and longitude separately, or paste one complete coordinate line.
Decimal
The 48.8584, 2.2945 format is compact and widely used by online maps.
DMS
Degrees, minutes and seconds write a position as 48° 51' 30.24" N.
DM
Degrees and decimal minutes are common on some GPS devices: 48° 51.504' N.

Keep in mind
Latitude must stay between -90 and 90. Longitude must stay between -180 and 180. If the first value is greater than 90, it is often a longitude written before latitude.
