Additional information

What is the Letter duplicates tool for?

This tool analyzes each letter occurrence. Unlike Missing letters, it does not only show absent letters: it also shows repeated letters, letters used only once, and the exact count for each letter.

Duplicates

Duplicate letters appear at least twice. They can reveal a structure, repetition, or constraint in a puzzle.

Unique letters

Unique letters appear only once. They can help spot a signature, acrostic, or unusual pattern.

Missing letters

Absent letters are still shown, but if you only need that information, the Missing letters tool is more direct.

Example

In ABRACADABRA, A appears several times, some letters are unique, and many alphabet letters are absent. This kind of report is more informative than a simple missing-letter list.
