This variant applies a separate shift of 18 to letters and digits. On digits, this is equivalent to ROT8 because 18 modulo 10 = 8. It is distinct from common ROT18, which combines ROT13 and ROT5.

Digits0-9 -> 5-90-4
This mode combines ROT13 for letters and ROT5 for digits. It is the behavior commonly called ROT18.

Choose a ROT mode
This tool includes ROT5 for digits, ROT13 for letters, ROT18 combining ROT13 and ROT5, a distinct Shift 18 variant, and ROT47 for printable ASCII characters.
ROT18 (ROT5 + ROT13)
This is the default mode: it applies ROT13 to letters and ROT5 to digits, the behavior commonly called ROT18.
Shift 18
This variant applies a separate shift of 18. On digits, this behaves like ROT8 because 18 modulo 10 is 8.
ROT47
ROT47 works on the printable ASCII range, so it also transforms part of the punctuation.
