Angle converter
Convert degrees, radians, gradians, turns, arcminutes and arcseconds.
This tool lets you switch angle measurements for calculations, plans or geometric references.

Quick explanation
Enter a positive or negative angle, then choose the source and target units.
Negative angles are accepted because they can represent rotation direction.

Convert torque
For rotational quantities linked to force, use the torque converter.
Additional information
Why are negative angles allowed?
An angle can indicate rotation direction. Depending on the convention, a negative value can therefore be perfectly valid.
Degrees, radians and turns
A full turn equals 360 degrees, 400 gradians or 2π radians. Arcminutes and arcseconds are used for finer measures.
About approximations
Conversions involving radians rely on π. The rounded display stays readable, while the copied value keeps more digits.
No data transfer
The conversion is calculated locally in the browser.
