Additional information
Find the day of year
This tool shows the rank of a date within the year. January 1 is day 1, while December 31 is day 365 or 366 depending on the year.
The result updates automatically whenever the date changes.
Common year or leap year
The tool tells whether the selected year is a common year or a leap year. A leap year has 366 days instead of 365.
This is useful when checking the rank of a date after February, because the offset depends on whether February 29 exists.
Remaining days
In addition to the day number within the year, the tool shows how many days remain until the end of the year.
This is useful to quickly place a date within the year, prepare a time reference or check a day number.
