How to use the True or False Quiz?

The True or False Quiz gives you a series of statements that you answer by choosing either “True” or “False”.

For now, the quiz includes one category about birds. More topics may be added later to offer a wider range of questionnaires.

Before starting, choose the difficulty level and the number of questions for the game. The available options depend on how many questions are available in the selected category.

Available category

The current category focuses on birds: their features, behaviour, diet, abilities, habitats, and some common misconceptions.

The quiz has been designed so more categories can be added over time. Each new category can have its own questions, difficulty levels, and visual supports when useful.

Difficulty levels

Questions can be organised into several levels: easy, normal, hard, and hardcore.

Easy questions help test general knowledge. Higher levels can include more precise details or less obvious statements.

You can also choose to mix the available levels for a more varied game.

Number of questions

Depending on the selected category and difficulty, the quiz can offer different game lengths: 5, 10, 20, 100 questions, or all available questions.

Unavailable choices are not shown. For example, if only 9 questions are available, the quiz will not offer a 10-question or 20-question game.

How a game works

Each question is displayed as a statement. Choose “True” if you think it is correct, or “False” if you think it is incorrect.

After your answer, the quiz tells you whether it was correct and displays a short explanation. You can then move on to the next question until the game is complete.

A progress bar shows how far you are in the quiz, while your score remains visible during the game.

Images and illustrations

Some questions can include an illustration or image when it helps make the question clearer.

When no image is needed, the question uses the full available space so it remains easy and comfortable to read.

Final result

At the end of the game, the quiz shows your final score as a percentage of correct answers, along with the number of correct answers.

You can then play again with the same settings or return to the category selection to start another game.

Local preferences

The quiz can locally remember your preferred difficulty level and number of questions.

These preferences stay in your browser and make it easier to start another game without configuring everything again.

Data and privacy

The quiz runs directly in your browser. Your answers, score, and progress are not sent to a server.

Only your preferred difficulty level and number of questions may be stored locally on your device, if your browser allows it.
