Additional information

Extract a clean word list

This tool turns raw text into a word list without keeping spaces or punctuation. You can paste content directly into the input area or import a .txt file from your computer.

Processing is done locally in your browser: pasted text and imported files are not sent to the server.

Format, case and sorting

The output can be displayed with one word per line, words separated by commas, or words separated by spaces. You can keep the original case, convert words to lowercase, uppercase or title case.

Sorting can be disabled, alphabetical from A to Z, alphabetical from Z to A, shortest to longest, or longest to shortest.

Available filters

Options let you remove duplicates, ignore case when comparing words, ignore numbers and define a minimum word length. This is useful to remove very short words or prepare a more regular list.

Why use this tool?

Use it to create a vocabulary list, prepare a dictionary, clean raw text, collect words for a game, a puzzle, a grid, a generator or a simple analysis.

The final list can be copied or downloaded as a .txt file for reuse elsewhere.
