Quick explanation
Paste your access.log, ignore your own IPs if needed and choose whether static files should be skipped. The analysis updates automatically and the tables let you explore IPs, URLs, statuses, bots and useful search engines.

Additional information
Read an access.log quickly
The Apache log analyzer turns a raw log file into readable tables. It helps spot the most active IPs, frequently requested pages, HTTP errors and bots crawling the website.
Everything runs in the browser: the log pasted into the tool is not sent to an AppErgo server.
Separate bots, search engines and likely visitors
Separate views help isolate Google, Bing, other search engines, known bots, errors, URLs and IPs. The “Humans?” view intentionally uses cautious rules: plausible browser, no known bot, no suspicious user-agent and a browsing pace compatible with a human visit.
- Static files can be ignored to keep the analysis lighter.
- Ignored IPs are useful for removing your own tests or monitoring.
- The detail panel for a row shows associated URLs, statuses and user-agents.
Use the results
Logs do not replace a full analytics tool, but they show what actually happened on the server side. To act on crawlers afterwards, prepare a file with the robots.txt generator.
