Additional information

Understand ROT47

ROT47 works on printable ASCII characters, from ! to ~. Each character moves forward by 47 positions in this set of 94 characters.

Broader than ROT13

ROT47 transforms letters, digits and punctuation. It can make a message harder to read than a simple ROT13 pass.

Reversible transform

Applying ROT47 a second time restores the original text, as long as the characters belong to the printable ASCII range.
