Calculate business days between two dates
This tool counts the business days included between two dates. In this tool, business days are Monday to Friday.
The calculation updates automatically whenever a date changes. There is no calculate button to press.
What is counted
The period is calculated inclusively: the start date and the end date are counted if they fall on a business day.
Saturdays and Sundays are excluded from the total. The details also show the total number of calendar days included in the period and the number of weekend days removed.
Public holidays
Public holidays are not removed by this tool. The calculation deliberately uses a simple rule: Monday to Friday included, Saturday and Sunday excluded.
This keeps the result clear and predictable, without depending on a specific country, region or business calendar.
Reversed dates
If the end date is earlier than the start date, the tool still shows the absolute gap between the two dates, but it clearly indicates that the dates are reversed.
This makes it easy to spot an input mistake without blocking the calculation.
