Calculate days between two dates
This tool simply measures the gap between two dates in calendar days. It does not remove weekends or public holidays.
The calculation updates automatically whenever a date changes. There is no calculate button to press.
Days apart and inclusive days
The main result shows the number of days apart between the two dates. Two identical dates therefore produce a gap of 0 days.
The “inclusive calendar days” detail also counts the start date and the end date. For example, from the 1st to the 3rd of a month, the gap is 2 days, but the inclusive period contains 3 days.
Equivalent in weeks and days
The tool also shows an equivalent in full weeks and remaining days. This makes the duration easier to understand without doing a mental conversion.
The total still remains a simple calendar-day count.
Reversed dates
If the end date is earlier than the start date, the tool still shows the absolute gap between the two dates, but it clearly indicates that the dates are reversed.
This makes it easy to spot an input mistake without blocking the calculation.
