Quick explanation

Set hours, minutes and seconds with the plus and minus buttons, then start the timer. During the countdown, the display stays intentionally simple. At the end, the visual alert remains active until you stop it, with optional sound limited in time.

Additional information

A direct timer without unnecessary setup

This simple timer is designed to start a countdown quickly, without presets or an overly detailed interface. Set the duration in HH:MM:SS format, then start.

The six separate digits make it easy to adjust an exact duration. Each digit has its own plus and minus buttons, so you do not have to select a full field or correct the whole duration manually.

This approach works well for quick uses: watching a cooking time, limiting a break, timing an exercise, keeping track of a task or starting a very simple visual reminder.

Six-digit duration setting

The duration is shown as six digits: two for hours, two for minutes and two for seconds. The buttons only change the digit they belong to, keeping the adjustment predictable and fast.

When the timer starts, the setting fields disappear to leave room for the remaining time. Alert options remain available during the countdown, so you can still change the alert type or sound before the end.

Visual alert and optional sound

At zero, the timer moves to its finished state. The alert can remain steady or blink slowly depending on the selected mode. Blinking continues until you stop the timer manually, so the signal remains visible.

Sound can be enabled or disabled. When enabled, it plays slow beeps for a limited time, then stops automatically. The visual alert remains displayed until you press the stop button.

On mobile and tablet, the display can automatically scroll back to the timer block when the alert triggers, making the alert easier to notice.

Difference with the countdown timer

The simple timer stays deliberately minimal: no presets, no advanced progress bar and no detail table. It is meant to set a duration and get a clear alert at the end.

For a richer interface with quick durations, progress and more visible options, the countdown timer is a better fit. For an alert at a precise clock time, use the visual alarm instead.
