Additional information

Why print a blank grid?

A blank grid is useful when preparing or solving a puzzle: copy letters by hand, test coordinates, use tracing paper, draft a word-search grid, or keep reading attempts separate from the original document.

Square cells

Each cell keeps the same width and height. That matters for overlays, rotations, diagonal reading and any grid that must stay geometrically clean.

Portrait or landscape

Portrait works well for tall grids. Landscape gives more width for broad grids or attempts with many columns.

Optional markers

Markers add one numbered row and one numbered column. They help identify a precise cell, but can be hidden for a completely neutral grid.

Practical tips
